Match against Afganistan showed we lack to do so. We were defeated in demoralizing way on every department. So people's case was being strong. Despite that Nepal had an opportunity to answer their critics as it is said. A match against Oman, little high ranked team and only team that looked like wining against Afganistan.
We needed a convincing win. But, script was not written in that way. Bowling first as usual Nepal limited opponent for medium score. (target of 102 off 15 over) but again Nepal's Batsmen failed to delever.
It all looked good when Pradeep and Subash were going at decent rate of 8 per over untill 5th over. Then it all started to fall apart; Pradeep, Subash, Paras and on and on. It was Basanta Regmi(often called sankatmochak by commentators) who showed little hope when he hit one 4 and one 6 back to back before being run out. Eventually Nepal lost the match by 2 runs.
There was disappointment on crowd, who as expected did not came in numbers as before (even NTV Plus also did not broadcast it live). But there was little hope that We are doing better.

Now it's time for Nepal to reflect, are we okay with better or do we want best? Do we want to be Bangladesh of Test nation who are happy with respectable loss are do we want to give a fight and see where it takes us. It is not a over night thing, we have to work hard. Now three month remaing for qualifier work load has to be even harder.
Cricket might had been a fun time pass, now time has come to show more professionalism. We could see Cricket has got good market in Nepal (even ICC can see that ). It won't be hard for Nepali player to survive playing Cricket in long run. So we have to make most of it. Finding new players (as coach said regarding batsmen) or working hard on current players. Nepal have to find a way out. So,
Everything is set for Nepal. Crowd support, talented players, an opportunity to showcase their talent. Now what are we waiting for? As everyone says one or two batsmen who when puts his feet on ground people would say there we go that is our boy...
